LASIK

LV Signature FemtoLASIK is a vision-correction process using laser at every step. It relies on a laser corneal flap maker — the Femtosecond Laser — a high-speed, low-energy laser that removes the need for a blade in LASIK, causing no pain or eye discomfort while remaining a highly effective, precise and maximally safe treatment.

Phakic IOL

Phakic IOL is a vision-correction method for people with very high nearsightedness or farsightedness, or corneas too thin for other procedures — an alternative for those who cannot be treated with PRK or LASIK. If you have to endure thick, heavy glasses but cannot have LASIK, Phakic IOL may be the right option for you. Laser Vision recommends Phakic IOL as a highly precise, highly safe vision treatment, ideally suited to people with severe refractive problems.

LASIK

NV LASIK treatment can slightly reduce image sharpness, and glasses with a mild prescription may still be needed for highly detailed work such as needlework. And although the Blended Vision principle is a good blend of near and far vision, people who need maximum sharpness — such as sports enthusiasts or those who regularly work at distance — may instead choose to have both eyes corrected for clear distance vision and use reading glasses for close work. If NV LASIK has been performed but the patient cannot adapt, doctor and patient may jointly consider a laser touch-up to restore clear distance vision in both eyes.

PRK

PRK treats nearsightedness, astigmatism and congenital farsightedness — similar to LASIK, but without the corneal flap step. The procedure starts by removing the outermost corneal surface (epithelium), then an Excimer Laser reshapes the corneal curvature. This method suits people with thin corneas, and certain professions such as soldiers and pilots. However, recovery and healing take longer than LASIK. Steroid eye drops are required after surgery, so treatment should be followed up continuously and closely for a period of time.

Cataract Treatment

Cataract treatment by phacoemulsification uses high-frequency ultrasound to break up the degenerated lens inside its capsule, which is then suctioned out through a very small tube. The lens capsule remains fully intact, allowing a small artificial intraocular lens — or a soft, foldable one — to be placed in the original lens's position. This surgery usually needs no stitches, as the incision is so small it seals itself. This is the standard method Laser Vision uses to treat cataracts.

LASIK

Treatment of nearsightedness, astigmatism and congenital farsightedness by reshaping the cornea's curvature with an Excimer Laser so light lands precisely on the retina. LASIK is a safe, precise, convenient and fast vision treatment — only about 15 minutes per eye. Because every person's eyes differ — prescription, corneal curvature and thickness, pupil size — Laser Vision International LASIK Center has curated different technologies to suit each person's eyes. Laser Vision offers 3 LASIK systems: 1. LV Premiere LASIK 2. LV Optimized LASIK 3. LV Platinum LASIK

RLE (Refractive Lens Exchange)

Age-related farsightedness (presbyopia) occurs as the eye's natural lens degrades and hardens, losing flexibility and the ability to focus up close. It can be treated by Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE). RLE is a new option for treating presbyopia: the doctor examines and assesses the eyes in detail, considering personal factors, to recommend the type of artificial lens best suited to the patient's daily life.
